Rishikesh
Rishikesh is a celebrated spiritual town which is situated on the bank of holy Ganga and it is surrounded by the Himalayas mountain range Shivvalik from three sides. Being a starting point for the Four Dham Pilgrimage of the Hindus in which pilgrims go to Gangotri,Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath for spiritual salvation.
Rishikesh is also famous for meditation and Yoga .This place is a heven for the adventurous, Rishikesh has some of the best treks in Uttaranchalis this place is the starting point of trekking expeditions and excursions towards the Himalayan mountain range.
Kailash Niketan Temple
This is a thirteen storey mansion and it is the main temple at Laxman Jhoola and an evidance of sculptures of all Gods and Goddesses in this thirteen storey mansion.
Shatrughan Temple
As the name suggest this tample is dedicated to Shatrughan,the younger brother of Lord Rama.This is an ancient temple is situated 5 kms. away from Rishikesh.
Rajaji National Park
Rajaji National Park was established in the year 1996 on the edge of the Dehradun valley This place is a perfect place for wildlife lovers because this park coves an area of approx 820sq.kms.with a variety of animal such as Tiger, Panther, Bear, Chital, Sambar,Elephant, Wild Boar, Kakar, Python, Snakes, Monitor lizard etc. alongwith a large variety of avian fauna
Ram Jhoola
Just like Lakshman Jhoolathis bridge is also suspension bridge between the Swarg Ashram and the Shivanand Ashram . Its construction is similar to that of the Lakshman Jhoola.
Satya Narayan Temple
The tample is dedicated to the Lord Satyanarayan and it is located enroute to Rishikesh, 10 kms. away from Hardwar.
Lakshman Jhoola(Bridge)
Lakshman Jhoola(Bridge)is a suspension bridge across Ganga and it is situated at a distance of about 5 Kms.from Rishikesh, on the way to Badrinath. It is said that the brother Lord Rama ,Lakshman, crossed the river Ganga here on a jute rope. Originally, there was a hanging jute (rope) bridge till 1889 and the mordern bridge was rebuilt with iron ropes.
On the side of this famous bridge is the well known Shri Raghunathji temple. ie. Lord Rama is said to have visited this placesince than this tample is here.
This bridge is the main way for people going up the hills and down to the Gita Bahvan and Swarg Ashram.
Assan Barrage Or Asan Reservoir
Situated on Dehradun-Paonta road at adistance of 40Kms.from Dehradun the Asan Reservoir is a small man-made wetland of 4 sq km area in the west of Dehradun valley.
Assan Barrage is a Winter passage halt for trans- Himalayan migratory birds and ideal place for Bird Lovers, Ornithologists and Naturalists. The lake attracts a large number of Waterfowl, Both Waders and Divers.

Bharat Tample
Situated near by the Triveni Ghat, the Bharat tample is the said to be the oldest temple in Rishikesh.. Bharat temple is dedicated to Bharat, who was the younger brother of Lord Ram.
