Chila
Chila is a part of Rajaji National Park and it is situated at a distance of 8 kms. from Haridwar on the bank of River Ganga.
This wild life sanctuary is a very good place for animal and bird watchers .The species which can be found here includes elephants, deers,peacockes,blue bull,fox,stag deer,spotted deers ,porcupine and migrated birds species in the season time.

Khirsu
Situated at a distance of about 20 Kms. from the heart of city Pauri ,Khirsu is a peaceful picnic spot.Khirsu is untouched with mordern hazardds such as pollution,crowd ,fast life and it offers peace to mind .The tranquility of the adjoining thick Oak and Deodar forests is mind soothing.

Neelkanth
As the name suggest this place is dedicated to Lord Shiva .It is believed that this is the place where Lord Shiva consumed venom which emanated during the Samudra Manthan.This place is 32 Kms. from Rishikesh via Barrage and has a great religious , mythological significance among the devotees of Lord Shiva. picturesque surroundings.
The place is surrounded by the dense forest of Oke and Deodar and offers a panaromic view of mother nature.
Kalagarh
Kalagarh is about 48 Kms. from Kotdwarand id is famousfor it's Dam which is constructed on the river Ram Ganga.Kalagarh is is also famous for it's natural beauty .The dam across Ram Ganga river is worth visiting.
Adwani
Situated at adistance of 18 Kms from the city from Pauri, Adwani is a picnic spot.This place is surrounded by dense forest and offers peace and tranquility which is good for relaxation.
Trekking From Pauri to Gairsain
Trekking starts at Biyasi and the following places are en route Marora , Ladaligad Kamtinagar, Phulbari , Kodyabazar , Masaka Kotha , Patharkhani , Bharari Sain , Diwalikhal and than to Gairsain
Necessary trekking equipments should be carried during the trek because accommodation is avaliable at limited stops.
Doodhatoli
Situated at an altitude of 3100 mts this picturesque place is covered with dense mixed forest. It is 125 kms from Pauri , Thalisain is the last bus station from where Doodhatoli is at a distance of 24 kms by trek. An ideal place for the treekers andnature lovres this place is worth visiting.
Adwani
Famous as a picnic spot this place is called Adwani .Surrounded by the mountains and forest this place is a fine out camping place.
Tarakund
Situated at a altitude of 2,200 mts above the sea level , Tara Kund is a picturesque place surrounded by the lofty mountains in the Chariserh development area. The small lake and an ancient temple makes this place enchanting the place.
