Chitai Temple
The sacred temple of Gollu Devta at chitali is situated 6 kms from the heart of Almora city, on the way to Pithoragarh. Goats are sacrified as offerings in the temple in the festivals and rituals. This temple was at one time, a virtual law court, for the deity receives many pleas from the distressed.

Jageshwar
The un-spoilt and un-touched Jageshwar is famous for it's 124 temples and their exquisite craftmanstip on black stones.This place is one of the twelve Jyotirtings of Goddess Parvati in India. This place is surronnded by thick forest of Deoder and situated in a narrow valley. The climate of this place is cool even in summer. Every year a great mumber of pilgrims come to this place in Shivratri which is in the month of savan (july to Aug)
