Chitai Temple The sacred temple of Gollu Devta at chitali is situated 6 kms from the heart of Almora city, on the way to Pithoragarh. Goats are sacrified as offerings in the temple in the festivals and rituals. This temple was at one time, a virtual law court, for the deity receives many pleas from the distressed.
